How its made
Millets Flakes are obtained by flattening the whole grain of millets
Ragi is a natural calcium source and rich in dietary fibre. It helps in slow absorption of sugar in blood which helps diabetes and also a good diet for healthy weight loss. Ragi is rich in many other nutrients which makes it a suitable food for kids and also its calcium rich. Flakes can be mixed with nuts and raisins to prepare museli.
How to Use
Method 1:- Wash the flakes twice with water.(Do not soak). Add the flakes with Hot or Cold milk with Natural Palm sugar & consume for breakfast. Method 2:- Wash the flakes twice with water(Do not soak) Saute cumin seeds in little oil with onion, tomatoes, veggies, cumin powder, pepper powder, Turmeric Powder saute well for 5-7 min. Add the washed flakes to the pan and mix well and cook for 2 min. Garnish with spring onion/coriander leaves. Method 3:- Gluten Free Ragi Flakes can be used with honey/dates & with dry fruits to make granola bars & energy bars for kids as school snacks.
Store in cool dry place or in airtight container without moisture content for good shelf life
