Foxtail millets are ideal for reducing the cholesterol of the body, controlling blood sugar and aiding metabolism rate. Foxtail Millet is highly rich in anti-oxidation, which removes all the acidic elements away from the body. Foxtail millets are also high in dietary fiber, which aids in proper breakdown of food and complete digestion. Now this Foxtail millet is served in form of vermicelli for making a easy, healthy and quick breakfast. Method 1 : Sprinkle salt water in required amount of vermicelli and mix well. steam in idly pan for 5 mins and then cook with chopped onion and chillies. Method 2 : Add little oil in kadai, splutter mustard seeds and add chopped onion and chilly and stir for 5 min, add vermicelli and sprinkle salt water to wet well the vermicelli and close with lid and cook for 10 min untill it gets soften and serve hot.
NOTE : All types of vermicelli needs minimum of 10% wheat to make it to a vermicelli form…..
