Pearl millet, bajra is packed with calcium, iron, and B-vitamin. Niacin residing in bajra plays a vital role in lowering cholesterol level in the blood. Magnesium and potassium in this grain help to regulate blood pressure.This grain is packed with iron, which aids in improving haemoglobin level in the blood and prevents anaemia. Now this Pearl millet (Bajra) is served in form of vermicelli for making a easy, healthy and quick breakfast. Method 1 : Sprinkle salt water in required amount of vermicelli and mix well. steam in idly pan for 5 mins and then cook with chopped onion and chillies. Method 2 : Add little oil in kadai, splutter mustard seeds and add chopped onion and chilly and stir for 5 min, add vermicelli and sprinkle salt water to wet well the vermicelli and close with lid and cook for 10 min untill it gets soften and serve hot.
NOTE : All types of vermicelli needs minimum of 10% wheat to make it to a vermicelli form…..
